  2. There's part of it where I can here you saying 2 different things so it was a little hard to understand but other than that it was really good. Hopedale sounded like a very boring town if everyone had to be "morally sound", no wonder it didn't last.

  4. Can't comment on your voicethread, so I'll comment here- Ballou seems a bit off with his attempts to create moral reform. His efforsts are commendable, while not entirly effective.

  5. Good job Sammi! You included lots of quotes and facts, which is always good! I didn't really comprehend what exactly his reform was, but I got it eventually. I guess it's good that it made me think. Overall, awesome job!

  6. Couldn't comment on the voicethread, so blog post it is. Nice job with the quotes and facts. Ballou seems like he hopped around reform/religious groups until he decided none were right for him, so he created his own church.

  7. Good job Sammi! It seems like your guy was really fickle about it but also really independent and true to himself, he followed only what he believed in, something that a true Transcendentalist would do

  8. Couldn't post on voice thread, so I'm doing it here. I like how you included quotes about his ideas. Like your reformer, mine was not accepted by the church and created a community for his followers.
